📋 Description

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project of the Madagascar WEFE Nexus CoP works to engage the private sector as a key partner in sustainable development. Recognising that businesses have both the responsibility and the resources to contribute to environmental and social goals, this project creates structured frameworks and incentives for companies to invest in the WEFE Nexus priorities: clean water access, renewable energy, food security, and ecosystem conservation across Madagascar.

• Develop CSR frameworks aligned with WEFE Nexus priorities for Malagasy businesses
• Facilitate partnerships between private sector actors and community-based organisations
• Encourage corporate investment in renewable energy, water access, and reforestation
• Build awareness of the business case for sustainability and responsible investment
• Support companies in measuring, reporting, and communicating their social and environmental impact
